Good Tips on Facebook Posting:
Personal Posts - 2-4x per day anytime
Business & Health Posts - 2-4x per day anytime, Sat optional
Call to Action Posts - these posts engage people, such as asking questions, for example- Whose had their pink drink today?
Headline Posts-short & sweet, can use graphics to catch their eye
Expand your friends list - The broader your network, the more people you can impact. If you see someone you know add them as a friend. About every 2 weeks look at Facebook Friends suggestions and if you are friends with 40 or more mutual friends - add them as a friend.
Balance - Remember everyone's primary interest in using social media is to keep up with people's lives so we have to be careful to strike a balance between interacting on a purely social level and sharing Plexus information. You do not want to be blocked by people because all your posts are about Plexus. When you are blocked, nothing from you shows up on a person’s page. At the same time, you have good news about products that will help them.
Relevance - This is an extension of balance. Facebook and other social media have algorithms that assess the people you interact with most and then move those posts to the top of the stack. All your plexus posts will never show up on anyone’s feed unless you interact with them somehow.
If you don’t know about some of the basic Facebook tools like where the birthdays are, the difference between a user, group, or special interest page (or how to create one), how to find people that have mutual friends, how to tag people, upload pictures/documents, post on their timeline, etc., you’re really not taking advantage of one of the most powerful tools we have to influence our success. Take an afternoon and read through some basic Facebook “how to” guides!
Here are some tips to ensure the time you invest on Facebook maximizes its potential.

Testimonials - These are incredibly effective.
For Facebook, create an album entitled “Plexus Testimonials.” The reason for using an album is so that when you post a new testimonial, it not only shows up on your friends new feeds, but if they look at that one, they will be where they can easily see all of them. It also gives you the ability to have a place where you can send an interested customer to view testimonials.
When you see a testimonial that you resonate with, copy the picture to your hard-drive, post it to your Facebook album, copy the relevant text, and then add your Plexus website as the first comment.
The most effective testimonial to potential customers is your own, so from time to time throw out something on your personal journey even if you are not ready for before and after pics.
Persistence - Remember, depending on where a person is they may take longer than others to get past the "this sounds too good to be true" hurdle. People may finally ask for information because something about a particular testimonial resonated with them (e.g. PCOS, thyroid, diabetes, etc.) even though they have seen many others. There are many people in your Facebook network who just read everything and hardly every post or comment. They will just pop up seemingly out of the blue when they are ready.
Professionalism – There is no reason to change your interests (e.g. continue to share on topics that are of interest to you), however make a concerted effort to make sure you are not flippant or rude to anyone. After all people are in your friends network because of who you are, so be genuine, but recognize we are also using the medium to run a business.
Facebook Groups - Facebook group pages are very useful for both Ambassadors as well as customers.

Here are some tips to ensure the time you invest on Facebook maximizes its potential.
- You have a lot of friends - ALWAYS “like” their posts, comments, or pages. Go through your news feed a couple times a day and “like” everything.
- People like to know their comments, pages, and posts matter. Your name will show up every time they check to see who “liked” their posts. They, in turn, will want to return the favor and “like” and comment on your posts.
- Go through your friends list and click on people that don’t show up on your news feed. Go through their page and like their stuff too. Facebook only displays a fraction of your friends’ news feed.
- Always wish your friends a happy birthday
- Use hashtags. Studies show that Posts with hashtags are liked 10% more. Tweets with hashtags are 50% more likely to be retweeted,
- Don’t just “share” posts bout Plexus that you like, make them personal. Think about the core feelings that affect you most, and write about those. Personal testimonials should follow the format of experience (issue), action (what you did to correct it), and results (how things are now).
- When sharing informational or testimonial posts, add a personal comment as to why you thought it was important to share.
- Each Friday, Plexus hosts #OppChat on Twitter - a chance for our Ambassadors and Customers (and anyone else who may be interested) to interact with key members of the Plexus Team on different topics each week.
